High throughput characterization enables any operator to quickly determine the chemical composition of particles of high-purity liquids such as drugs and process media. The SPE raman.ID 20 has remarkable sensitivity, therefore it is able to, not only identify high-purity liquids, but also conduct approval testing for new inhalation products. For example, the SPE raman.ID 20 can conduct foreign particle analyses in studies used for new inhalation product approval. Contamination sources can be identified and eliminated during operation within minutes to prevent products from falling outside the parameters due to an extremely high concentration of foreign particles.
Improved process knowledge, based on statistically relevant particle identification, makes it is possible to improve both the quality and production yield of particle-sensitive products such as sterile drugs, biopharmaceuticals, implants, optical storage media and liquid crystals.
