rap.ID Expands Presence on US Market with rap.ID US

Berlin Juli 18th, 2007 – Effective immediately, rap.ID US Inc., based in Worthington, Ohio, now exclusively distributes products manufactured by rap.ID Particle Systems – counter and analysis devices, new silicon layer measuring devices as well as laboratory and other client services.

With this strategically important step towards internationalisation, rap.ID’s market presence in North America is sure to continue improving. Just in the past few years, 50-70% of the Berlin company’s particle analysis devices were sold within the US. Rap-ID now distributes, installs and services products exclusively developed by rap.ID Particle Systems GmbH, including the well-established foreign particle counter and analysis devices and additional services related to rap.ID’s unique contamination identification. Marketing particularly focuses on pharmaceutical development and production. The latest product developed for this market, the Layer Explorer, reliably determines the spectrum and thickness of silicon oil layers in pharmaceutical packaging, such as pre-filled syringes.
