HomeLife & SciencesSPE-ls raman.IDBenefits

When you operate the SPE-ls raman.ID it is as easy as using a microscope and it saves years of laboratory staff labor. With pre-defined methods you work reliably with the instrument and the integrated spectroscopy allows you identification of material like a forensic expert. And this for hundreds of individual particles per hour without any interaction. The very best part of the system is that it writes the standard examination reports in a template customized by you.

Reproducability through automation

Automation - Auto-focus, illumination feedback, binarization threshold, and a sample/objective changer are some of the exceptional features that make this device objective and user-friendly. No user interaction is required to run samples.
Repeatability - The pre-installed methods and integrated software enable you to analyze up to four samples in a row with a single mouse click. Several validations, successfully performed with the system have benefitted from this feature.
Particle number, shape, and size - All particles filtered or suspended on filter patches or on other surfaces are sized with several algorithms and morphologically analyzed using a powerfully integrated software package.
Particle color image - Automatically collect high resolution sharp (auto-focus) color images of the particles.
The target coordinates for each particle is given for spectroscopic fingerprint analysis - imaging led spectroscopy.
Documentation - All raw data including spectra etc. are all stored in a CFR compliant format. A PDF and office package compatible report is written fully automated.

Integrated Identification

Robust spectroscopy - System calibration and system performance can be controlled with just a push of a button using the integrated materials standards for routine wavelength calibration ensuring accurate identification.
Easy material identification with automatic documentation - The Raman spectrometer performs unprecedented automatic database matching. All results are stored to ensure reproducibility.
raman.ID - Determine the chemical composition of particles up at a rate of 50 - 300 particles per hour.
Multiple wavelengths available - Choose between 532 nm, 785 nm or 1064 nm, or a combination to optimize your Raman system. Ask the rap.ID team for a comparision study for your foreign particulate matter materials.
